Anti-scratch silicones are widely used in automotive applications, such as  engine gasket, radiator seals and hoses, cables, exterior coatings, interior textile coatings, lubricants, adhesives and sealants for assembly, etc.  Comparing with other chemistries, silicones help to enhance desirable properties such as:

  The scratch agent is polydimethylsiloxane masterbatch with special structure based on PP. Widely used in automobile PP interior decoration, home appliance PP plastic modification materials and other fields. The masterbatch itself has little effect on the mechanical properties of the material and has good thermal stability. And mold release performance, reduce deformation, reduce equipment wear, improve product performance, and reduce manufacturing defect rate. Simultaneously can fully show the reduction of low friction coefficient, improve smoothness, improve surface gloss, increase surface touch, improve wear resistance and scratch resistance. Gel masterbatch overcomes the shortcomings of traditional transparent oil as a plastic lubricant that is easy to suck out, and has obvious functions such as scratch resistance.

   

  Product performance:

  1. It may enhance the scratch resistance and surface quality of goods, won’t migrate, and is more stable than conventional processing aids and lubricants;

  2. The rubber and plastic items still have outstanding scratch resistance even after age, and it has great thermal stability;

  3. The anti-scratch silicone may make the product surface smoother and lower the friction coefficient of the surface;

  4. It has strong internal and external lubricity, which may efficiently lessen the extruded product die buildup;

  5. Help with processing by assisting in the dispersion of both inorganic and organic fillers, lowering screw torque, increasing fluidity, and improving flow;

  Instructions:

  1. It is possible to thoroughly pre-mix anti-scratch silicone with other components before adding it to the twin-screw extruder, where it is melt-mixed and granulated;

  2. It can also be put to a single-screw injection molding machine or extruder during production and mixed directly with plastic particles before being melted and injected or extruded.

  Storage and Shelf Life: The product has a 12-month shelf life when kept at 35°C in its original, unopened container.
