There are two processing methods for silicone masterbatch here.
Firstly, for compounding. Silicone masterbatch as the raw material additive using in compounding, it usually mix with EVA/SBS/PVC pellets, POE, EDPM, Talc, auxiliary, anti oxidant agent, foaming agent, and other fillers and auxiliary together in EVA/TPR/PVC shoe sole field.

In PP products field, silicone masterbatch mix with PP pellets, POE, Talc, Black masterbatch, auxiliary, and other material.
It can solve the anti scratch issue in final products such as automotive interior, automotive bump, PP household, bottle and container, and the hard plastics products which have anti scratch or lubricants performance demand.
All in all, with the raw material together mixing or compounding(such as PP pellets+POE+Talc+Black masterbatch+Silicone masterbatch+auxiliary+other material), its can form into blend. Silicone masterbatch help blend in injection machine or extrusion machine have good lubricants performance and increase the produce speed. It also can application in PP, PE, TPU, TPR, PA, PET, PC… products. Silicone masterbatch as the slip agent, take the major role in processing machine for improving internal lubricant that solve precipitation and accumulation of machine problems and external lubricants that solve smoothness and anti dust problem.
Secondly, for using directly. Silicone masterbatch+blend(Such as, blend=PP pellets+POE+Talc+Black masterbatch+auxiliary+other material, no add silicone masterbatch) together in to injection machine or extrusion machine. Using directly not the same with compounding with raw material, compounding need through to machine(mixer+injection or extrusion), but using directly just only through injection or extrusion machine. Although using directly is convenient that compounding, however, this processing method is not suitable for the dispersion of silicone masterbatch. Moreover, the machining temperature using directly should comply with the melt index of different carrier silicone masterbatch.
