Anti Scratch Silicone Masterbatch
Silicone masterbatch is an anti scratch plastic additive developed and produced for PP plastics. It is a reactive silicone additive containing reactive functional groups. Anti scratch silicone masterbatch is made by blending high molecular weight silicone with linear low-density polyethylene, with a silicone content of up to 50%.
Adding silicone masterbatch to plastic compound can significantly improve the scratch resistance of the product surface, improve the anti scratch of plastic products, enhance the processing flowability of plastics, and reduce extruder torque. At the same time, it can also improve the phenomenon of stress whitening, and there will be no phenomenon of screw slippage affecting plasticization during the processing. It has good thermal stability and dispersibility, and can produce materials with good mechanical properties.
Due to the presence of special reaction groups, silicone masterbatch has high reactivity and good compatibility with plastics. During the process of plastic extrusion, high temperature can induce crosslinking with the active groups on the surface of the plastic.
